Important Note: The Primary and Main company numbers listed for your account in RingCentral are temporary. Your account will be associated with the correct number once all numbers have been ported.
We encourage all employees to utilize the built-in help features within the RingCentral app and watch the available "How-to" videos for additional assistance.

Detailed Steps by Device:
For Windows 10 & Windows 11:

Right-click the Start button.

Select "Installed Apps"
-
Find 3CX Desktop App in the list, select the three dots menu, and click Uninstall.

Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the uninstallation.
For Android Devices:

Go to your device's Settings.
-
Tap Apps or Applications.
-
Find 3CX in the list of apps.
-
Tap Uninstall and confirm.
For Apple (iOS) Devices (iPhone/iPad):

On your Home screen, long-press the 3CX app icon until it jiggles.

Tap the "X" or "-" in the corner of the app icon.
-
Tap Delete App and then Delete to confirm.
For Windows 10 & Windows 11:

From Software Center, locate the RingCentral App.
-
Follow the on-screen prompts to install the application.
-
After installation, launch the RingCentral app.

Select Sign in.
-
Enter your MPS email address, and select Next.
-
If you are already authenticated, you will be automatically logged in. If not, you will be prompted to log in using your Google authentication. Enter your username, password, and MFA.
For Android Devices:

Launch the Google Play Store app on your Android device’s Work Profile.

Search for "RingCentral" (ensure you download the app with the "R" logo).

Tap Install.
-
Once installed, open the RingCentral app.

Tap Sign in.
-
Enter your MPS email address and tap Next.
-
You may be directed to the Google login page. Enter your credentials and tap Login.
For Apple (iOS) Devices (iPhone/iPad):

Launch the App Store app on your iOS device.
-
Search for "RingCentral" (ensure you download the app with the "R" logo).

Tap Get, then Install, then Open.
-
Once opened, tap Sign in.

Enter your MPS email address and tap Submit.
-
You will be directed to the Google login page. Enter your credentials and tap Sign In.
This step ensures that your outgoing calls display the correct number.

Open the RingCentral app.
-
Locate the Phone option from the left navigation bar, then select the Keypad tab.

Select the My caller ID dropdown near the top of the app and select your phone number.
It is crucial to update your Emergency Response Location to ensure emergency services can accurately locate you if you dial 911 from the RingCentral app.

Open the RingCentral app.

Go to Settings, Phone
-
Look for "Emergency response location", and select Manage.

Follow the prompts to enter or update your physical address. This should be the location where you will primarily be using the RingCentral app.

MPS-defined emergency locations are preset.

Remote Employees will need to define their personal location. Select the "+" icon to define a personal location.

Save the changes.
This step will configure our current phone system (Cisco) to automatically forward calls to RingCentral
- Using the MPS Shortcut in Chrome, navigate to MPS > Administrative > Manage Phone Settings. Log in using your MPS Credentials.
- From the Phones > My Phones, several phones may be listed.
- Select the Gear Icon for the phone ending in "_RC", and select Edit.
- Check the Enable Single Number Reach, then select Save.
- For each phone that does not end in "_RC", select the Gear Icon, then select Delete
