Accessing ParentVUE (website and app)

ParentVUE Website Access

1. Visit the Midland Public Schools ParentVUE Portal.
2. Select I am a parent.
3. Log in with your existing ParentVUE Username and Password.

If you have students enrolled and do not yet have an account, click More Options and select Activate Account. You will need the activation code provided by your student's school main office.

ParentVUE Mobile App Access

Step 1: App Setup

1. Download the App
   1. Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) on your device.
   2. Search for ParentVUE (by Edupoint Educational Systems) and install it. **App name ParentVUE (New) app
2. Open the ParentVUE app.
3. Swipe through the introductory screens to search for your district.
4. When prompted, enter the Zip Code for Midland: 48640.
5. Select Midland Public Schools from the list of districts.
6. Tap Yes to confirm Midland Public Schools as your school district.

(Optional) Manual URL Entry: If prompted to enter the district server URL manually, use: https://mi-mps-psv.edupoint.com/

Step 2: Log In

1. If you have already activated your account in the past, tap Already Activated.
2. Enter your existing ParentVUE Username and Password to log in.

If you have not activated your account, select Activate Account on the main menu and follow the prompts using your school-provided activation key.

Available Modules

Synergy Mail: Allows parents, teachers, and students to send mail through Synergy SIS.

Calendar: Displays important details of the school day, such as district and school holidays and events for the selected student.

MiLearn: MiLearn is a Michigan Department of Education service that delivers state assessment data electronically to students, parents, and educators. Please read the MiLearn specific instructions at the end of this article for how to use this module.

Attendance: Displays the student's attendance by list or calendar and any reasons for missed attendance.

Current Schedule: Displays the student's class schedule for the current term. 

Course Request: Used for secondary schools only: **Note: this module is available during specific times of the school year.

View or modify course requests for the next semester
The Course Request screen displays a list of the student's current course requests and alternate elective requests.
 The Comment column displays messages about the status of the request.
 The district controls the types of courses available for selection, when users can make course requests, and other options.

Grade Book: Displays student grades, assignments, and test scores posted in Grade Book.

Grade: Displays the student's report card.

School Information: Displays the school's location, staff information, and school events.

Student Information: Displays student's demographic information. Includes emergency contact and physician information in ParentVUE.

Student Special Ed: Displays Special Education information for the student, if they are receiving services.

Test History: Displays historical test scores from multiple years.

Documents: Displays documents relating to the selected student.

MiLearn Specific Instructions

Because MiLearn is a state provided service, this module connects you to a page outside of ParentVUE. Please use the following instructions to access the module.
Note: At this time, MiLearn does not work correctly in the ParentVUE mobile app. While we work with the vendor to resolve this problem, please use the ParentVUE website to access MiLearn.

• In ParentVUE, click the MiLearn module on the left hand side
• Click Login and you will be taken to the MiLearn site
• Since this is a state provided service, you will be presented with the following notice that the site is for authorized use only. Click I Agree.
