If you still want students to access your canvas course to complete late work, etc, you will need to change the end date on each of the sections that you have with students that need that extended access. This is done by going to the settings option in the left column and then selecting the Section tab at the top of the page. Finally click on the section you want to change, click the edit section button, change the end date (must end before 1/27 or your grades will not work correctly), and then click update section. In the attached screenshot, please note that the Sections tab is selected.
