Here are some basic steps to assist with personalizing your dashboard in Canvas, especially in adding courses -
The vertical yellow bar above on the main screen of Canvas is called the GLOBAL NAVIGATION Bar.
From the GN bar, choose COURSES. Then you will see the following:
Note where the orange arrow shows ALL COURSES? Click there. You will then see a list of all courses associated with you, each with a star to the left of it (as noted by the green arrow) as below:
Click on the stars for the courses you want to “favorite” and they will then appear on your dashboard. You can favorite or unfavorite courses in this way at any time by follow the same steps.
