Setting up a Work Profile on a Personal Android device

**These directions were created based on a Samsung device with Android 10.  These screens may vary based on the Manufacturer of the Android device.  If you need assistance with these directions, please contact the MPS IT helpdesk.

1. Navigate to the Settings > Accounts > Add account > Google
2. When prompted, enter your MPS Google email account and select Next
3. When prompted, enter your MPS Google password account and select Next
4. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
5. You will be asked to Set up a work profile, select the Agree button
   
   
    
6. When prompted, select the install button to install the Android Device Policy app
   
   
    
7. A screen will appear say that your Work Profile is being created
   
   
    
8. A screen will appear saying "Registering profile..."
   
   
    
9. The screen may flash to other screens saying that it is installing some Google Apps
10. Once this is done, it will return back to the Settings > Accounts screen.  If you want to log into apps using your MPS Google Account, the app needs to be installed on the Work Profile side.  To do this, open the Play Store app from the Work Profile side.  You will know it is the Work Profile Play Store if it has a briefcase icon in the lower right side of the app icon.
